With an aim to boost air connectivity to the city of Ayodhya, IndiGo airlines announced daily flights from Mumbai that will begin from January 15 onwards.
The regular flight operations from the upcoming Ayodhya Airport will start from January 6 .
According to a statement from the airline, inaugural operations at Ayodhya’s soon-to-be-inaugurated Maryada Purushottam Shri Ram International Airport will begin on December 30.
Following the inauguration, commercial operations from Delhi to Ayodhya will begin on January 6, 2024 and from Ahmedabad to Ayodhya will commence from January 11.
The expansion reinforces IndiGo’s commitment to providing customers with improved and direct flights, the statement said.
The airline further aims to enhance choices to and from Ayodhya and in addition foster accessibility, travel and commerce in the region.
In their statement, IndiGo has also announced the schedule details of the flights . The flights from Mumbai to Ayodhya will run on a daily basis, the departure of which is scheduled at 12:30 pm. On the other hand, flights flying from Ayodhya to Mumbai will also ply on a regular basis, departing at 3:15 pm.
