Inside videos revealed the Hollywood sensation enjoyed her time in the after party, but one particular moment that caught onlookers attention was her impromptu dance performance with Bollywood star Janhvi Kapoor. The actress had shared a delightful clip on Instagram, as the two grooved to the beats of Zingaat from the movie, Dhadak. Other than the dance floor, the duo also enjoyed a candid conversation, leaving fans curious about their chat. Recently, at the Screen & Style Icons Awards 2024, Janhvi shed light on their interaction and hinted that she and Rihanna had a lengthy conversation
For the special award night, Janhvi Kapoor looked gorgeous in a golden gown. When she was called on stage to accept her award, Janhvi remembered her conversation with Rihanna at Anant and Radhika’s pre-wedding celebration. When asked about their chat, Janhvi kept it light hearted and she humorously said, “Bahot actually lamba conversation tha and my zip won’t be able to sustain. (It was actually a very long conversation).”
At a previous event, Janhvi Kapoor showered praise on Rihanna and called her a goddess while also highlighting her warm and approachable personality. In a conversation with News18, the actress had said, “It was definitely a moment for me because who isn’t a fan of Rihanna. She is literally a goddess but more than any of that she is so warm, she’s so normal, so chill and yeah, I had a blast.”
Other than sharing the dance floor with Janhvi, Rihanna also danced to the tunes of Shah Rukh Khan’s song Chaleya from Jawan. She even posed alongside the King of Bollywood himself. Later, Rihanna was also captured with internet sensation Orry. The celebrations reached new heights as the global superstar posed alongside the main hosts of the event, Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant.
It was a special moment as Rihanna performed in India after 8 years and entertained the guests with a total of 19 songs.
On the work front, Janhvi Kapoor will be next seen in Jr NTR’s Devara, followed by Mr And Mrs Mahi alongside Rajkummar Rao, Ulajh with Gulshan Devaiah, Roshan Mathew, Sachin Khedekar, Rajesh Tailang, Meiyang Chang, Rajendra Gupta and Jitendra Joshi. The actress will reunite with her Bawaal co-star Varun Dhawan in Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari and an untitled movie with Ram Charan.
