Mumbai: ICICI bank on Monday announced that it had revised its interest rates on NRE fixed deposits and FCNR deposits, effective July 1.
The interest rates on one year NRE fixed deposits have been increased to 6.70 per cent per annum and interest rates on one-year FCNR deposits denominated in US dollars have been increased to 5.69 per cent, the bank said in a release in Mumbai.
The NRE fixed deposit rates have been hiked from 6.43 per cent to 6.70 for periods 12-18 months, 18-24 months and 24-36 months.
The interest rate for deposits in 36-120 months category would also be 6.70 per cent from the existing 6.45 per cent, the release added.
