Woman, Involved In Car Accident With Leo Legal Team, Sustains Minor Injuries
The lawyers representing Seven Screen Studios, the film's producers, met the state Home Secretary on Tuesday.

In the lead-up to the highly anticipated release of Leo, starring Thalapathy Vijay, the film’s production team, along with their legal representatives, have been diligently working to secure permission for a special screening in the state of Tamil Nadu. The aim was to hold a special 4 a.m. show, but this request was denied on grounds of maintaining law and order. In response, the Madras High Court addressed the matter, emphasizing that the Tamil Nadu government should decide on the request.

The legal team representing Seven Screen Studios, the film’s production company, arranged a meeting with the state Home Secretary to discuss the screening request. However, on their way back from this meeting, their vehicle was involved in a road accident. The legal team had requested their vehicle to be brought to the Chennai headquarters following the meeting with the Home Secretary. Tragically, while proceeding to collect the car, the driver accidentally collided with a woman riding a two-wheeler. This unfortunate incident resulted in some disturbance at the headquarters. Fortunately, the injuries sustained by the woman were minor. She chose not to file a complaint, as the legal team assured her that they would take responsibility for any damage to her two-wheeler and cover any necessary medical expenses.

This incident is the second major controversy surrounding the film Leo in just a week. Previously, a poster featuring Vijay in the song Naa Ready, where he was depicted smoking a cigarette while holding a gun, sparked backlash from certain political parties. They argued that Vijay held significant influence over the youth and contended that the poster was promoting smoking. In response to this backlash, the poster was altered.

Leo, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, is the third instalment in the director’s cinematic universe and is set against the backdrop of Kashmir. The film is poised to be an action-packed thriller, boasting an ensemble cast that includes Sanjay Dutt, Trisha Krishnan, Arjun Sarja, Gautham Menon, Mysskin, Priya Anand, and Anurag Kashyap, promising an enthralling cinematic experience for audiences.
