'Dharavi Dream Catchers': Documentary Produced by Late Amole Kale Premiered at Jio World Convention Centre
Amol Kale, a former MCA honorary president, passed away following a cardiac arrest in June this year.

In memory of the late Shri Amol Kale, a tribute event was held today at the Jio World Convention Centre.

The event featured the premiere of “Dharavi Dream Catchers,” a documentary produced by Late Shri Amol Kale and Suraj Samat, capturing the initiative by Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) and Mumbai Police to scout talents from slums of Dharavi.

Amol, a former MCA honorary president, passed away following a cardiac arrest in June this year.

The documentary highlights the struggles of aspiring cricketers from Dharavi and how cricket can be an agent of change for them.

During the event Suraj Samat and Ashish Shelar paid tribute to Late Shri Amol Kale.

Following the documentary, a concert by Piyush Mishra added a special touch to the evening.

The event was attended by Smt. Minal Kale, the wife of Late Shri Amol Kale, along with his children, Arpita and Aditya.

Notable attendees included Shri Shashikant Bhoge, a friend of Late Shri Amol Kale; Shri Ajinkya Naik, President of the MCA; Shri Vivek Phansalkar, Police Commissioner of Mumbai; Shri Ashish Shelar, Treasurer of the BCCI and Shri Armaan Malick, MCA Treasurer.
