Team India reached the nation's capital city ahead of their second T20I against Bangladesh scheduled to be played at the Arun Jaitley Stadium on the 9th of October.

Team India made a touchdown in Delhi for their 2nd T20I against Bangladesh. India were in superb form in their series opener, sealing a dominant win against Bangladesh on October 6. After the victory, the team was seen leaving Gwalior for Delhi with their second game scheduled to be played at the Arun Jaitley Stadium.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India’s (BCCI) official account shared a glimpse of the team’s travel on X (formerly Twitter). The clip featured several star players, including Hardik Pandya, Suryakumar Yadav and Rinku Singh.

“Team India have arrived for the 2nd INDvBAN T20I,” read the post.

The video began with the Indian cricketers leaving the team hotel in Gwalior to get on the bus. Gautam Gambhir’s men were greeted by a huge crowd at the airport with several fans surrounding them. All players seemed to have a great time on their flight to Delhi before hopping on the team bus once again.

Fans could be seen waving at the Indian cricket stars before arriving at the team hotel. The cricketers were welcomed in a typical Indian fashion with drums and other instruments playing in the background. Indian skipper Suryakumar Yadav even took some time out to perform a few dance steps before entering the hotel premises.

Fans who were not able to greet the team during their journey ensured to leave several warm wishes in the comments. One of them wrote, “All the best guys.”

Another seemed to be excited about the second match and commented, “One more exciting match.”

One hoped that India were prepared to close out the series early by winning their game in Delhi. “Lets do it in Delhi,” read the response.

“All the best Team India,” wrote another person.

India won the T20I series opener against Bangladesh by seven wickets at the Gwalior International Cricket Stadium. The hosts had won the toss and elected to field first in front of the home crowd. The bowling duo of Arshdeep Singh and Varun Chakravarthy found the most impact as they combined for six wickets while giving away a joint 45 runs.

Having dismissed Bangladesh for 127, India completed a comfortable chase in 11.5 overs. Hardik Pandya ended the run chase with a 16-ball 39. He hit five boundaries and two sixes.
