Watch: Kagiso Rabada Gifts Signed Jersey To DJ Bravo After T20 World Cup Semi-final Clash Between SA vs AFG
After South Africa secured their spot in the final, Kagiso Rabada took the time to give an autographed shirt to none other than DJ Bravo.

Kagiso Rabada presented Dwayne Bravo with a memento jersey after South Africa defeated Afghanistan to reach the final of the ongoing T20 World Cup. Rabada was one of the top-performing bowlers for the Proteas in the semi-final clash. The pacer picked two scalps as Afghanistan were bundled out for 56 runs in the first innings. After South Africa notched a nine-wicket victory in the low-scoring game, Rabada was seen giving a signed jersey to Bravo, who served as a bowling consultant of the Afghan unit in this T20 World Cup. The beautiful moment was captured on camera and the video was later dropped on Instagram by the ICC.

Kagiso Rabada met Dwayne Bravo after the one-sided semi-final was wrapped up in Trinidad and Tobago. The South African speedster came out of the tunnel with his match jersey and signed on the back of it. He then handed it over to Bravo, who went on to click a picture with the memento shirt. The Caribbean legend then shared a hug with Rabada and wished him luck for the final.

Dwayne Bravo deserves much credit for Afghanistan’s commendable bowling performance in this T20 World Cup. It was a historic campaign for the Asian side, which reached the semi-final of an ICC event for the first time in history. Bowling was the main weapon for the Rashid Khan-led unit.

In the penultimate Super Eight game, Afghanistan defended 148 runs against Australia. In the next outing which was a must-win fixture, the Afghan brigade bundled out Bangladesh for 105 runs. They, however, failed to replicate the performance in the semi-final against South Africa, which has been undefeated so far in the tournament.

Afghanistan elected to bat first in the knockout game in Tarouba and faced a batting collapse. Azmatullah Omarzai was the only batter from the Afghan brigade to register a double-digit score. Marco Jansen spearheaded the South African pacer attack and folded with a three-wicket haul. Spinner Tabraiz Shamsi also demonstrated his skills on the sluggish surface and took three wickets. Besides Kagiso Rabada, Anrich Nortje also fetched two scalps.

South Africa was not troubled much during the chase. After Fazalhaq Farooqi dismissed Quinton de Kock in the second over, Reeza Hendricks and Aiden Markram remained unbeaten till the end and chased down the paltry target in 8.5 overs. South Africa will clash against India or England in the final of the T20 World Cup on June 29.
