Bihar Man Cracks UPSC On 6th Attempt, Secures AIR 762

Cracking the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) exams is a feat not many can achieve. Every year, lakhs of students take the exam hoping to become civil servants like IAS or IFS. Recently, UPSC released the Civil Services Examination for 2023. As per the notification, a total of 1,016 candidates have qualified. Among them, Shahenshah Siddiqui, from Bihar, secured AIR 762, in his sixth attempt.

Shahenshah Siddiqui is a resident of Narkatiaganj, West Champaran, Bihar. His father, Mohammad Rizwanullah, is a retired teacher while his mother, Shabrun Nesha, is a homemaker. He finished his schooling in his city and now wants to become a civil servant and work for the welfare and interest of society and the country.

After completing his Class 12 from TP Verma College, Narkatiaganj, he pursued his degree in Civil Engineering studies from the Vinayak Mission University, Chennai. He then stepped into journalism. He has worked as a TV Journalist for four years in a news agency.

Ever since it was revealed that Shahenshah Siddiqui cracked the UPSC exam, his family, relatives, neighbours and members of the community are feeling quite proud of his success. His accomplishment and willful determination to crack one of the toughest exams has set an example and is now an inspiration to many.

Cracking the UPSC exams takes a lot of hard work, focus and determination. Despite failing five times, Shahenshah Siddiqui did not give up and instead juggled his work in Journalism and focused on his studies for UPSC as well. When he felt necessary, he quit his job in media to focus on his studies and prepare himself better. Finally, when the results came in, his family was left feeling proud of his success. He credited his family and teachers for lending him constant support and encouraging him.
