CBSE Class 10, 12 Board Exam 2024 Ends; When to Expect Results?
CBSE will announce the final date of the results for Class 10 and Class 12 on their official social media handles after the completion of the evaluation

The Class 10 and Class 12 Board exams conducted under the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) concluded recently. CBSE Class 10 exams began on February 15 and ended on March 13, whereas CBSE Class 12 board exams also started on February 15 and concluded on April 2. As per reports, CBSE will announce the results soon. Last year, the examination board announced the Class 10 and Class 12 results on May 12. This year more than 39 lakh students registered for the CBSE board exams.

The students who appeared for the exams can check their marks on the official website results.cbse.nic.in. Also, some other websites to keep an eye on are: cbse.nic.in, cbse.gov.in, cbseresults.nic.in and digilocker.gov.in. CBSE will announce the final date of the results for Class 10 and Class 12 on their official social media handles.

The login details required while checking the results on the CBSE official sites are:

1. CBSE Board exam Roll Number

2. School Number

3. DOB: Date of Birth

The results will also be announced on the DigiLocker app and website – digilocker.gov.in. Adding to that CBSE may also provide board exam results via SMS, IVRS and the UMANG App. The official statement from the CBSE will include instructions on how to access the results.

In 2023, as per CBSE officials, the overall pass percentage in Class 12 results was 87.3 per cent. Girls outshone boys in class 12 CBSE results last year with an overall pass percentage of 90.68 per cent and in comparison to them, 84.67 per cent of boys passed class 12 exams in 2023.

While the overall pass percentage in Class 10 results last year was 93.12 per cent which was slightly better than that of the previous year. In 2023, girls scored 94.25 per cent while boys scored 92.27 per cent.

Meanwhile, the Central Board of Secondary Education has revealed the CBSE Board Exam 2025 syllabus for classes 10 and 12. Class 9 and 10 are part of the Secondary Curriculum, and classes 11 and 12 are part of the Senior Secondary Curriculum. These divisions represent the curriculum for the 2024–25 school year. For better comprehension, the board has also provided the CSBE syllabus and other evaluations in Hindi.
