The National Testing Agency (NTA) has commenced the registration process for the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) 2024 for undergraduate (UG) courses. The application process will go on till March 26. Applicants can check the detailed notification as well as apply for the exam through the official websites — nta.ac.in, and exams.nta.ac.in/CUET-UG.

The CUET UG 2024 examination date has been announced by the NTA. The exam will be administered from May 15 to May 31. It will be held in 380 cities including 26 cities outside India. “There are 33 languages and 27 subjects. A candidate may choose any subject/language as desired by the applicable University/ Organization,” reads the official notice.

As per the official notice, the application edit window will remain open on March 28 and 29. Students will be notified about the city of examination from April 30 onwards and admit cards will be available from the second week of May. Results will be released on June 30.

During the application procedure, candidates must attach their formal passport-size photographs and scanned signature copies in the specified file size and format. It’s crucial to remember that the application form will be turned down without an opportunity for revision or modification if the signature or photo is illegible or unclear.

CUET UG 2024: Eligibility Criteria

For applicants to be able to take part in the CUET UG 2024, they need to have finished their class 12 or be appearing for their class 12 examinations in the said year.

CUET UG 2024: How to Apply?

Step 1: Navigate to the official website — exams.nta.ac.in/CUET-UG.

Step 2: Select the CUET 2024 registration link that is available on the homepage.

Step 3: Fill out the information requested on a new page to sign up.

Step 4: Complete the form online, pay the registration fee and submit the form.

Step 5: Print a copy of the submitted form for your records.

The CUET UG 2024 score will be used by around 250 universities to determine admission to different first-year degree programmes. Candidates from the general category must have received at least 50 per cent of the possible marks in their Class 12 assessment, while candidates from the Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) categories must have received a minimum of 45 per cent of the marks.
