DOT Recruitment 2024: Applications Open For Assistant Director And Junior Telecom Officer Posts

The Department of Telecommunication (DOT) is providing a golden opportunity for candidates, who want to become an officer in the Ministry of Communications. All the candidates who want to apply for this post should read the following details given here carefully. The Ministry of Communication has recently released vacancies for the post of Assistant Director (AD) and Junior Telecom Officer (JTO). Candidates should visit the official website dot.gov.in of the Ministry of Communication for the application process as the application process has already been started.

The last date of application is September 5.

Interested and eligible candidates should submit their application using Annexure-B format. Applications can be sent by post as a hard copy or as a scanned copy via email to [email protected] or [email protected].

Eligibility criteria:

Those who are planning to apply for the posts of Assistant Director (AD) and Junior Telecom Officer (JTO) through the Ministry of Communications should have the relevant qualification given in the official notification. Only then will they be considered eligible to apply.

In case of Assistant Director, the candidates must be retired with a minimum substantive grade of level 8 of the 7th CPC in CDA scale or equivalent IDA scale. While in case of the Junior Telecom Officer, candidates must be retired with a minimum substantive grade of level 7 of the 7th CPC in CDA scale or equivalent IDA scale.

Age limit:

The maximum age limit should be 64 years for the candidates who are applying for these posts.

Selection process:

A selection panel will be constituted to review the applications and interview the shortlisted candidates. This panel will work for six months and will make a final decision on the selection of the consultant, which will be final and binding. Special condition:

The consultant may have to perform outdoor duties in all over UP (East) LSA jurisdiction. Those who are not able to perform outdoor duties need not to apply. The extent terms and conditions issued from time to time by the Central Government for engaging the retired personnel shall also be applicable.
