The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has begun the application process for the Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT) 2024. Candidates can submit their forms online via the official website of NBEMS at natboard.edu.in. As per the schedule, the last date to apply for the GPAT 2024 is May 8. Once the registration process closes, the application correction facility will be accessible from May 11 to May 14, 2024.
The NBEMS has scheduled the Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test for June 8, 2024. Candidates who successfully register for the GPAT 2024 exam will be able to download their admit card from June 3, 2024. The result for the same will be announced on July 8, 2024.
“Candidates who fail to submit duly completed applications with requisite documents and/or fail to rectify the deficiencies in their applications by the last date prescribed for rectification shall be declared ineligible,” read the official notification. In addition, candidates who are ruled ineligible prior to the examination will not be provided an admit card. In these circumstances, all fees will be forfeited.
GPAT 2024: Eligibility Criteria
Those applying for the Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (4 years after 10+2, including lateral entry students) or its equivalent from a recognised institute, board, or university.
GPAT 2024: How To Apply?
Step 1: Go to the official website of NBEMS at natboard.edu.in.
Step 2: On the homepage, look for and click on the ‘GPAT 2024’ application link.
Step 3: First register yourself on the website, then, proceed with the application form.
Step 4: Fill out the application form with all the essential details, and remember to pay the application fee.
Step 5: Check all the details and submit the form as directed.
GPAT 2024: Examination Fee
Candidates from the Unreserved (UR), Other Backward Class (OBC), Economically Weaker Section (EWS) category have to pay Rs 3,500 as exam fee, while applicants from the Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Person with Disability (PwD) category need to pay Rs 2,500.
The exam fee must be paid using the designated payment gateway with an Indian bank’s credit card or debit card, or with any other payment options that may be made available and listed on the website. The online application form payment gateway is the only method accessible for depositing fees. No other payment gateway is accepted.
Candidates can appear for a mock test to familiarise themselves with the computer-based test (CBT) format at natboard.edu.in. They will have access to the mock test from May 27, 2024.
