The Indian Air Force (IAF) has released the admit card for the Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) 01/2024 exam. Candidates who applied for the exam can check the hall tickets on the official website at afcat.cdac.in. The test will be conducted in two shifts. This recruitment campaign is being conducted to fill a total of 317 positions in the Flying, Ground Duty (Technical and Non-Technical) branches.

The AFCAT 2024 carries 300 marks and is conducted for two hours. It contains a total of 100 questions from different topics like general awareness, verbal ability in English, numerical ability, reasoning, and the military aptitude test. All the questions are in objective form and are in English. The examination also has negative markings, that is, one mark will be deducted for each wrong answer. As a result, candidates will have to carefully answer these questions.

IAF AFCAT 2024: Steps to Download Admit Card

Step 1: Go to the official website of IAF at afcat.cdac.in

Step 2: On the homepage, search for the admit card link

Step 3: As a new window opens, enter the login details and click on submit.

Step 4: The IAF AFCAT 01/2024 admit card will appear on the screen

Step 5: Cross-check all the details

Step 5: Download and take a print out for further use.

After the selection process, those selected will be paid a fixed stipend of Rs 56,100 per month for the duration of their training. “Training will commence in the first week of January 2025 for all courses at Air Force Academy Dundigal (Hyderabad). The duration of training for Flying and Ground Duty (Technical) Branches is 62 weeks and that of Ground Duty (Non-Technical) Branches is 52 weeks at Air Force Training Establishments,” reads the official notice.

The initial tenure for Ground Duty (Technical & Non-Technical) SSC Officers would be for ten years. However, an extension of four years may be granted subject to service requirements, availability of vacancies, willingness, suitability and merit, the official notice stated.
