The Indian Railways has announced a massive recruitment drive for over nine thousand technicians, with the application deadline set for April 8. The recruitment includes a total of 9,144 vacant positions, with 1,092 openings for Technician Grade-I Signal and 8,052 vacancies for Technician Grade-III.

In terms of remuneration, selected candidates for the position of Technician Grade-I Signal will receive a starting salary of Rs. 29,200, while those appointed as Technician Grade-III will start with a salary of Rs 19,900. Additionally, employees can expect to receive various bonuses and benefits, including house rent allowance, dearness allowance, and other perks.
