The results of the first phase of the JEE Main examinations have been declared, with three students from Udaipur City emerging as top scorers. Jai Ameta, Bhavishy Agrawal and Himanshu Jangid, all hailing from Udaipur, have achieved remarkable scores in the first phase of the JEE Mains. Jai Ameta secured an impressive 99.92%, followed by Bhavishy Agarawal with 99.77% and Himanshu Jangid with 99.16%. This achievement has brought immense pride to the entire city of Udaipur.
Leading the rankings, Jai Ameta obtained perfect scores of 100% in Physics, while Bhavishy Aggarwal secured 100% marks in Chemistry. Jai’s father, Gopal ji Ameta, shared that his son dedicates eight to ten hours of study every day. Jai aspires to secure a top rank in the upcoming JEE Advanced exam and gain admission to a prestigious college. Expressing gratitude for his success, Jai credited his teachers for their continuous support and guidance.
The examinations for Paper 1 and Paper 2 were held on January 24, 27, 29, 30, 31 and February 1, respectively. Out of the 12 lakh candidates enrolled for the JEE Mains examinations this year, approximately 11.70 lakh appeared for the tests. Successful candidates in the JEE Main exams will be eligible to register for the JEE Advanced tests, with registration expected to commence in April.
A total of 23 students achieved a perfect score of 100 in the JEE Mains exam. Notably, students from Northeastern states such as Sikkim, Assam, Manipur, etc., also secured top rankings. Priansh Yajnik from Sikkim, Jyotishman Saikia from Assam, Antarip Ray from Tripura, Vinnakota Sneha from Arunachal Pradesh, Md Siddek Ahmed from Nagaland, Rohan Singh from Manipur, Abhijnan Gogoi from Meghalaya and John Laldingliana from Mizoram are among the top achievers from the Northeast.
The outstanding performances of these students reflect their dedication and hard work, bringing accolades not only to themselves but also to their respective regions.
