The Kerala Pareeksha Bhavan (KPV) has postponed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (KTET) 2024 admit card release date. According to the official notice, the admit card release date has been rescheduled to June 10. Candidates, who have registered for the exam, can check their admission cards upon release at ktet.kerala.gov.in, the official website.

The official website states “ The admit card for the KTET April 2024 exam will be available from 10/06/2024 onwards.” Previously, the admit card was set to be released today, June 3, 2024.

KTET 2024 Admit Card: How To Download?

Step 1. Visit the website, kter.kerala.gov.in.

Step 2. Click on the “KTET 2024 Admit Card” link to download the admit card.

Step 3. You will be redirected to a new KTET login page.

Step 4. Enter your login information including application ID and date of birth. From the dropdown menu, choose your category.

Step 5. Click on “Submit” and your admit card will show up on your screen.

Step 6. Now, download the KTET 2024 admit card.

The admit card will include credentials like exam date, centre details, personal information and paper timings. Candidates are required to check the data thoroughly for any mistakes. If any candidates find any discrepancy they should contact the Kerala Pareeksha Bhavan’s helpline number.

This year, the KTET is scheduled for June 22 and 23. Previously, the examination’s application deadline was originally set for April 26 but was later moved to May 2. The Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (KTET) is a state-level examination used to evaluate candidates for teaching positions in Kerala’s Lower, Upper and High School levels.

KTET 2024 : Exam Pattern

The exam will be conducted in pen and paper exam mode. Each paper will consist of 150 questions depending on the category. The exam will be of 150 marks which will last for 150 minutes. For every right response, candidates will receive one mark and incorrect responses will not result in a deduction of marks.

KTET is held for candidates in categories 1, 2, 3, and 4. Classes 1 to 5 will fall under Category 1, classes 6 to 8 fall under Category 2, classes 8 through 10 will fall under Category 3, while language teaching subjects including Arabic, Urdu, Sanskrit, and Hindi (up to upper elementary level) are under category 4. Category 4 will also include physical education and specialist teachers.
