According to the mark sheet, Devesh Joshi scored a percentile of 99.96 in Physics, 99.86 in Chemistry and 99.90 in Biology (Botany and Zoology).

The controversy surrounding the NEET UG results has been making headlines. The exam conducted by the National Testing Agency has come under scrutiny after several reports of paper leakage and result irregularities came up from various parts of the country raising questions about the future of the aspirants.

This year, a total of 67 students have secured All India Rank 1 in NEET UG. Among them is Devesh Joshi from Rajasthan, who scored a perfect score of 720 out of 720 in the entrance examination.

Devesh Joshi belongs to Todabhim, Karauli District, Rajasthan. This was reportedly his second attempt. He said that he wanted to be a doctor since childhood and he worked hard to reach this milestone. An image of his NEET’s result has gone viral on the Internet garnering thousands of likes and comments.

The 19-year-old boy secured his place in the NEET UG topper’s list. As per his mark sheet, he was born on March 30, 2006. He appeared for the exam from the General EWS category and secured a percentile of 99.9971285. The boy attributed his success to his parents and friends who helped him to reach this milestone. According to reports, he studied at a local coaching centre to take his preparations for the examination. His father, Lokesh Kumar Sharma works in the electricity department.

Devesh failed to crack the examination on his first attempt scoring just 412 marks. He didn’t lose hope and worked harder with more dedication for the second attempt to crack the examination. According to his mark sheet that went viral, he scored a percentile of 99.9679852 in Physics, 99.8618693 in Chemistry, and 99.9089272 in Biology (Botany and Zoology). He was allotted an All India Rank of 1.54 for college counselling. When asked about his hours of study, the boy from Rajasthan mentioned that he used to study for 6 to 7 hours a day in preparation for the examination.
