The last date for applying for University Grants Commission (UGC)'s National Eligibility Test (NET) 2021 exam, for eligibility to Junior Research Fellowship and Assistant Professorshipis Tuesday, March 2. Those candidates who are interested in appearing for the UG NET 2021exam conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) canapply on the official website www.ugcnet.nta.nic.in.The fees for a single NTA UGC NET 2021application form is Rs 1000. The UGC NET 2021 exam will be held on May 2 to May 7, May 10 to May 12, May 14 and May 17. The NTA UGC NET 2021examination will be conducted in two shifts — the first shift will start from 9 AM and will go till 12 PM, while the second shift will befrom 3 PM to 6 PM.
The candidates who are willing to apply for NTA UGC NET 2021 exam, must follow these steps:
Step 1: Log on to the official website of NTA, www.ugcnet.nta.nic.in, through any internet browser of choice
Step 2: On the homepage, there will be a hyperlink that reads “Application Form December 2020 Cycle (May 2021)”. Click on it
Step 3: You will be directed to a new page, wherein there will be a tab that reads 'New Registration’. Click that option
Step 4: A new page will open where you will be required to enter your mobile number and email ID to get the application number
Step 6: Once done, login with your credentials and fill the application form
Step 7: Attach all required documents and photographs in the form
Step 8: Pay the application fees online, and hit the submit button
Step 9: Next, download and take a print of the application form for future reference
The NTA UGC NET 2021 will be held in a computer-based mode and will comprise two papers. Paper-I will have 50 Multiple Choice Questions of 100 marksm while Paper-II will have 100 Multiple Choice Questions of 200 marks.
