The State Selection Board (SSB), Odisha is currently accepting online applications for 2,064 teacher positions, offering a variety of prestigious roles within the department, such as TGT-Arts, TGT-PCM, TGT-CBZ, Hindi, Sanskrit, Urdu Teachers, and PET. SSB Odisha Teacher Recruitment 2024: Eligibility Criteria
Candidates for the aforementioned positions must be at least 21 years old and should not be older than 38 years old on January 1, 2024. In other words, they should have been born between January 2, 1986, and January 1, 2003.
However, there is a relaxation of up to 5 years in the upper age limit for specific groups such as Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Socially and Educationally Backward Classes (SEBC), Women, and Ex-Servicemen.

SSB Odisha Teacher Recruitment 2024: Application Fee
Candidates falling under the unreserved/SEBC category will have to pay a non-refundable and non-adjustable fee of Rs 500 as an application fee at the time of registration. However, candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Persons with Disabilities (PwD) categories (with 40 per cent or more permanent disability) are required to pay Rs 200 as an application fee.
SSB Odisha Teacher Recruitment 2024: Selection Procedure
Candidates will be selected for the posts of TGT-Arts, TGT-PCM, TGT-CBZ, Hindi, Sanskrit, Urdu Teachers, or PET based on a written test. The test will be worth 150 points and will consist of multiple-choice questions (MCQs). Candidates will be given two hours to complete the test. There will be 100 questions with equal weight. For every correct answer, candidates will be awarded 1.5 marks.
