The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) released a notice announcing that the SSC Constable GD 2024 re-examination will be held for certain centres on March 30 this year. Candidates can check and download the notice by visiting the official website of the Commission at ssc.gov.in. According to public notice, candidates from specific centres in the Central (CR), Northern (NR), North Eastern (NE), and Western (WR) Regions will be allowed to take the re-exam.

“The Computer Based Exam for Constable (GD) in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFS), SSF and Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles Examination, 2024 was conducted by the Commission from 20.02.2024 to 07.03.2024. However, due to the venue-specific technical reasons noticed in the review of aforesaid examination, a need has been felt to hold re-examination of candidates of the certain venues/dates/shifts,” reads the official notice.

As per the notice, the decision to re-examine candidates at specified venues/dates/shifts was made in response to venue-specific technical reasons discovered during the examination review, as previously stated. The re-examination is scheduled to take place on March 30 and more information about those who are allowed to reappear will be accessible on the Commission’s website shortly.

The Commission held the Computer Based Exam for Constable (GD) in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFS), SSF, and Rifleman (GD) in the Assam Rifles Examination, 2024, on February 20 and March 7. Candidates who have appeared earlier in the computer-based exam will be permitted to appear in the re-examination. The notice includes information such as the venue name, region, city, day of examination, shift and number of qualified candidates at each exam venue.

Those who qualify for the computer-based exam will have to appear for the Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Physical Standard Test (PST), Medical Examination, and Document Verification (DV) rounds.

Through this recruitment exam, the Commission will fill a total of 26,146 vacancies in the organisation. As the SSC has decided to conduct the Constable GD 2024 exam again, the answer key will be delayed. According to earlier updates, the answer key was expected to be issued in the first week of April.
