Students Must Learn to be Decisive, Take Care of Their Physical Health, PM Modi at Pariksha Pe Charcha 2024
Pariksha Pe Charcha 2024: Students scroll through a lot of reels these days and are not mindful of how much time has passed while doing so. This is not healthy, said Modi

Children must develop the habit of being decisive at an early stage. This way they will not be confused. Students must trust themselves, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said at the seventh edition of the Pariksha Pe Charcha 2024. “The reality is that you don’t trust yourself. You have a dilemma in coordinating your thinking, that’s why you keep asking 50 people. ..You coordinate with the advice that seems easiest to you…The worst situation is confusion…Before making a decision, we should weigh everything on as many scales as we can,” he said.

He also said that students must also take care of their physical health and in turn, it will be beneficial for their mental health too. “Just like a mobile requires charging to function, similarly, it is very important to keep the body recharged because keeping the body healthy is very important for a healthy mind. For this, getting proper sleep is also very important,” the PM said at the event.

Students scroll through reels these days and are not mindful of how much time has passed while doing so. This is not healthy, said Modi. “Using gadgets should be accompanied by time-tracking tools and applications. Ensure that your gadgets have apps that keep track of your screen time. One should not forget to respect their time while using mobile phones,” he said.

“Not only mobile but excess of anything…doesn’t do anyone any good. There should be a standard for everything, it has a basis. It is very important to have discretion as to how much of anything should be used. We should not run away from technology but should use it positively,” he added.

The prime minister further added that students must practice writing thoroughly before exams as it will only help prepare them for what is coming. “In the same way, no matter how difficult the question paper is, if you have practised well, you will perform well. Stop paying attention to who is doing what around you,” he said, adding that students must focus on themselves. “What you are, what you do, and what you practice, are what will decide your future,” Modi said at PPC 2024.
