London: Alan Pardew's first game as Crystal Palace manager ended in success on Saturday as his team came from behind to beat Tottenham 2-1 in the Premier League.

Harry Kane broke the deadlock for Spurs in the 49th minute, collecting a pass from Nacer Chadli and sending his low shot across Palace goalkeeper Julian Speroni.

Dwight Gayle equalized for Palace in the 69th from the penalty spot after Benjamin Stambouli was adjudged to have tripped Joe Ledley.

Gayle powered the penalty low to the right of Hugo Lloris, before Jason Puncheon put Palace ahead in the 80th.

Substitute Wilfried Zaha weaved down the left and picked out Puncheon on the edge of the area, who curled a low shot into the far corner.
