Salgaocar SC coach Karim Bencherifa said that he is satisfied with his own team's performance.

Kolkata: Salgaocar SC coach Karim Bencherifa has stated that he will be a satisfied coach irrespective of the result of the last match of their I-League campaign.

"Considering that we are a young side, I'm very satisfied with the performance of my team. We need a win to secure the title but whatever happens in the last game I am happy with the way my players have performed this season," the Moroccan told Goal.com.

After beating East Bengal 3-2, Bencherifa sounded very cheerful and has given a weekend break to the players.

"After Saturday's come back against East Bengal, I have every reason to be satisfied with my players. I've given the boys the weekend off and we'll think of the next match only on Monday," said the coach.

With regard to East Bengal and Dempo's chances in the title race, the tactician has thrown the ball in the court of the rival teams who are vying for the coverted prize.

"I don't care! I'm okay with whatever result we get in the last match. The pressure is on East Bengal and Dempo. Even having two matches more than us, they can't afford to get a draw. They have to win all three," he pointed out.
