Liverpool: Liverpool boss Kenny Dalglish will have to make do without the services of Daniel Agger after revealing that the defender faces a spell on the sidelines after fracturing a rib.
The Denmark international picked up the injury in his side's 4-0 thrashing at the hands of Premier League rivals Tottenham at the weekend.
"Daniel has got a fractured rib, so he's struggling a bit," Dalglish told LFCTV.
Dalglish also praised the Reds fans for the fantastic support they showed despite their team's the poor on-field display at the weekend
The experienced Scottish tactician added: "For us the best part of the day was the support we got. The fans supported us fantastically and I think the boys will bear that in mind and look forward to repaying them in some way."
"I think we have exhausted Sunday with what we have said. It didn't please anybody and the players were really disappointed."
“We don't think we played well, even with eleven men we didn't play well. Maybe that's the standard we are setting for ourselves but we are not going to settle for anything less."
“We will look to do the best we possibly can in every game, we won't always play well but we will always try our best."
"We didn't start so well on Sunday, which contributed to our downfall, along with Spurs' play."
