Manchester: English Premier League champions Manchester United are lining up a 15 million pounds bid for Benfica defender Ezequiel Garay. The Benfica centre back has been a target for United for around 12 months, but Moyes is ready to finally get his man.
According to reports in Portugal, United are ready to open the bidding at 15m pounds, and would even consider giving their flop winger Bebe into the package to get a deal done.
Garay would be interest in a move to the Premier League, but his outstanding performances for Benfica mean the club won't sell him so cheaply. Garay is needed in the United back-line and they will surely have him in their ranks by the end of the window as a move is almost a certainty.
Manchester United have missed out on Barcelona's midfielder Thiago who chose Bayern Munich ahead of the Red Devils.
