Mata rubbishes reports of Chelsea exit
"Nobody at Chelsea has told me that Mourinho wants me out," Mata was quoted as saying.

New Delhi: Chelsea's player of the year Juan Mata has brushed aside reports that the new Blues' boss Jose Mourinho has put him up for sale. "Nobody at Chelsea has told me that Mourinho wants me out," Mata was quoted as saying by the Spanish sports publication Marca.

The Spanish playmaker, who is in Brazil currently to play the Confederations Cup, helped Chelsea lift the Europa League and then finish third in the English Premier League.

Mata, 25, put his faith in the club, especially after his performances in the just-concluded season. "When I finished the season, I was told that they were very happy with my performances and with the two years I've spent with the club. I have three years left on my contract. I'm very happy with Chelsea," he said.

When asked about his opinion on Mourinho, Mata said, "Mourinho? I'd prefer to wait until I meet him and work with him before I judge him. That's simple logic."

Mata joined Chelsea from Valencia in 2011.
