Boya, who was associated with FC Kukesi in the Albanian Superliga, will be the third foreigner, the green and maroon brigade said.

Kolkata: Mohun Bagan announced on Wednesday the signing of former Cameroon forward Pierre Boya as their marquee player for the upcoming season.

Boya,who was associated with FC Kukesi in the Albanian Superliga, will be the third foreigner, the green and maroon brigade said in a release.

Before playing for FC Kukesi, Boya represented various clubs in the European circuit including FK Partizan popularly known as Partizan Belgrade, the club which plays in the Serbian Superliga.

Boya represented FK Partizan in the 2004-05 UEFA Cup group stage and also scored both goals to clinch a 2-2 away draw against Italian Club Lazio.

In the summer of 2007, Boya was transferred to Rapid Bucuresti, Romania.

In August 2010, Boya returned to FK Partizan for his second stint with the club after signing a one-and-a-half year deal, after the club qualified for the 2010-11 UEFA Champions League.

In August 2012, Boya joined Danish Superliga side Randers FC for the rest of the 2012-13 season and in 2013-14 season he joined Albanian club Kuksi.

Boya has also represented Caemroon in four international matches between 2005 and 2007.
