London: Real Madrid coach Jose Mourinho was pictured in London on Tuesday, with reports in both Spain and England claiming he was 'house-hunting' ahead of a possible summer switch to either Tottenham or Chelsea.

Last month, Spanish show Punto Pelota claimed Mourinho will be leaving the Santiago Bernabeu at the end of June, while The Times reported the following week that the 49-year-old had decided to return to the Premier League.

Mourinho has refused to confirm or deny the speculation, remaining coy on his future and brushing off questions on the subject.

The former Chelsea coach has previously spoken of his affection for the English game and has admitted he would welcome a return to the Premier League.

The Portuguese posed for pictures with fans in London on Tuesday and was spotted in department stores with his wife.

Reports in AS and on BBC Radio claimed the coach was looking for a house in the English capital, although a potential property purchase may be for his daughter, who is moving to London to study in the near future.

With Chelsea coach Andre Villas-Boas under pressure, Mourinho has been linked with a move back to Stamford Bridge to replace his former colleague, while Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy has made the Portuguese his top target should Harry Redknapp leave to manage England this summer.

Mourinho criticised Madrid fans for their poor turnout in the hard-fought 1-0 win at nearby Rayo Vallecano on Sunday, while he recently claimed he preferred to "support" former clubs Chelsea and Inter after fans of both sides had cheered his name.
