La Liga side Sevilla has confirmed a deal to sign 26-year-old French striker Kevin Gameiro from Paris Saint-Germain for a five-year contract.

Sevilla recently lost striker Alvaro Negredo to the former EPL champions Manchester City and Gameiro is expected to help the the Spanish side fill that gap. Gameiro joined PSG in 2011 and in two seasons scored 23 goals in 77 competitive matches. He has also appeared for France on eight occasions.
