Priyanka Chopra took to Instagram on Saturday to wish her friend a happy birthday. She shared a selfie with her friend and wrote, “At a time when everything feels so uncertain .. I’m so grateful some things are a constant. @tam2cul you have not only been my best friend and confidant but my sister for more than 2 decades! Damn! Here’s to making so many more memories…. Priyanka, who is married to Joe’s younger brother Nick Jonas, has often shared photos with Sophie on social media from their family vacations. The two actresses have remained quite close over the years. Hence, Priyanka’s unfollowing Sophie has come as a shock to their fans. This comes days after certain reports claimed that Priyanka is distancing herself from Joe and Sophie’s divorce.
Earlier, Koi Moi quoted a source as saying, “PC is not the sort to poke her nose in others’ affairs. This is a sensitive issue. Apparently, there has never been a divorce in the Jonas family. They are very concerned. But they have decided to let Joe and Sophie deal with it. Priyanka is very close to Sophie. But the divorce topic remains taboo between the two sisters-in-law.”
Now, in a new development, Page Six reported that Joe is seeking to dismiss the divorce with Sophie. The court documents obtained by the entertainment portal reveal that the estranged couple has decided to “pursue an amicable resolution of all issues”.
