. Finding Skiddo can be a bit difficult, so if you’d like to learn how to catch a Skiddo in Pokémon X and Y, then this wikiHow will provide you with some advice.
Steps

Make sure you have enough Pokéballs. Skiddo has a relatively high catch rate , so regular Pokéballs or Great Balls should work well (make sure, however, that you bring multiple Pokéballs with you in case your first attempt at catching Skiddo is unsuccessful). Since Skiddo will most likely be a lower level, you can also bring a few Nest Balls with you if you'd like, since these make it easier to catch lower-level Pokémon. You can also bring a few Quick Balls with you if you'd like to try and catch Skiddo right when the encounter begins.

Try bringing Flying, Poison, Bug, Fire and/or Ice Pokémon with you. Since Skiddo is a Grass-Type Pokémon, it's weak to those types of moves (be sure to keep in mind the lower level it has, however. A Pokémon that has a level that's too high may KO the Skiddo in one hit). While typically, Skiddo are not immune to any type of move, if it has the ability Sap Sipper, then it will be immune to Grass-Type moves.

Know where to find Skiddo. There is only one place where you can find Skiddo in Pokémon X and Y, and that's on Route 5, Versant Road. It has a relatively average Encounter Rate , so while it may take you a few minutes to encounter one, it shouldn't take you too long. Keep in mind that Skiddo's Encounter Rate is higher in the flowers than it is in the grass.

Lower Skiddo's health to about half or less. This should make catching it easier. You can use Flying, Poison, Bug, Fire and/or Ice Pokémon, or you can also use a Pokémon with the move False Swipe, since this is guaranteed to leave Skiddo with at least 1 HP. If you're using a Quick Ball, make sure to throw it before you use any moves. Despite the fact that Skiddo is weak to Fire and Poison-Type moves, be aware if you use them. Some moves can cause a Poison or Burn status effect, which will make the Skiddo slowly lose health. If this happens, be prepared to make an attempt to catch it before it runs out of health.

Throw the Pokéball. Since Skiddo has a relatively high Catch Rate, this shouldn't take you too many tries. Eventually, you'll have successfully caught a Skiddo.

What's your reaction?
