This wikiHow teaches you how to update your name in Telegram when you're using a computer.
Open Telegram on your Mac or PC. It’s in the Applications folder (macOS) or in the All Apps area of the Start menu (Windows).
Click ☰. It’s at the top-left corner of Telegram.
Click Settings.
Click EDIT. It’s one of the links beneath your current name.
Type a new name. You must enter a first name, but the last name is optional.
Click SAVE. Your new Telegram name will take effect immediately.
