How to Turn Off VoiceOver Speak Hints on an iPhone

Open your iPhone’s Settings. It’s an app on one of your home screens that has a gray gear icon. It may be in your Utilities folder.

Tap General. It’s in the third section.

Tap Accessibility. It’s in the third group of settings.

Tap VoiceOver.

Tap Verbosity. It’s in the second section.

Slide the “Speak Hints” switch to the off position. You will no longer hear hints for how to use VoiceOver gestures and features on your iPhone.
