There are a lot of characters you can collect in Disney's Dreamlight Valley, and most of them are pretty straightforward to unlock. One character that may prove a little bit confusing, however, is Stitch, from "Lilo and Stitch." Thankfully, unlocking Stitch is actually not very hard, but it takes some patience as it will take a minimum of 10 real days to unlock him. Keep reading to learn all you need to know about unlocking Stitch in Dreamlight Valley.

Things You Should Know

To get Stitch, find the slimy stocking sock, chewed-up sock, and knitted orange sock and return them to their owners.
You must have Donald Duck, Merlin, and Goofy unlocked as characters, and they all must have houses.
You also must have the Forest of Valor, Dazzle Beach, and Peaceful Meadows biomes unlocked.

Find the Slimy Stocking

Search Dazzle Beach for a slimy stocking. The first step to getting Stitch in Dreamlight Valley is to find this sock on Dazzle Beach. The location is random, so explore Dazzle Beach until you see a sparkling item on the ground. You may not see the stocking until you unlock the Forest of Valor and Donald Duck by completing the "Lost in the Dark Grove" Story Quest as well as unlocking Dazzle Beach and Donald's house by completing the Donald's "A House Fit for a Duck" Friendship Quest.

Collect the stocking and show it to Donald. Donald will discuss the sock with you and say that he's noticed some strange activity lately.

Go to Donald's house and find the strange device. You will have to clean some trash out of Donald's house before you find the device.

Show Donald the strange device. After this dialogue, the first segment of unlocking Stitch is completed.

Wait for five days. You must wait five days before you can continue your quest to unlock Stitch.

Find the Chewed-Up Sock

Search Peaceful Meadow for a chewed-up sock. The location is random, so explore Peaceful Meadow until you see a sparkling item on the ground.

Collect the sock and show it to Goofy. Goofy will discuss the sock with you and say that he's noticed the same strange activity that Donald has.

Go to Goofy's house and find the blue fur. You will have to clean some trash out of Goofy's house before you find the fur.

Show Donald the blue fur. After this dialogue, the second segment of unlocking Stitch is completed.

Wait for five more days. You must allow another five days to pass before you can continue working on getting Stitch.

Find the Knitted Orange Sock

Search the Forest of Valor for a knitted orange sock. The location is random, so explore the Forest of Valor until you find a sparkling item on the ground.

Collect the sock and show it to Merlin. While the game says you should talk to Merlin, Mickey, and Kristoff, you can go straight to asking Merlin about the sock because it belongs to him. Merlin will discuss the sock with you and say that he's noticed the same strange activity that Donald and Goofy have.

Go to Merlin's house and find the mysterious claw. You will have to clean some trash out of Merlin's house before you find the claw.

Show Donald the mysterious claw. After this dialogue, the third and final segment of unlocking Stitch is completed and the strange device will become a homing beacon to summon Stitch.

Summoning Stitch

Place the homing beacon near Skull Rock. You don't have to place the device directly on top of Skull Rock; anywhere nearby will work. You can place the device from the Furniture tab of your inventory. After placing the beacon, you'll get a cutscene where Stitch arrives.

Speak with Stitch, then with Donald. After a short conversation with Stitch, go talk to Donald. Donald will suggest asking Scrooge McDuck to help build Stitch's house.
