The upcoming new-age romantic comedy film Honeymoon Express has been creating a buzz for a long time. It is presented and produced by New Reel India Entertainments Private Limited. The movie features Chaitanya Rao and Hebah Patel in the lead roles, along with Tanikella Bharani and Suhasini playing other important roles. The upcoming movie is written and directed by Bala Rajasekharuni. KKR and Bala Raj have jointly backed the movie.
Meanwhile, the makers surprised the viewers yesterday and unveiled the first song titled Nijama. The beautiful love song was composed by Kalyani Malik and released by movie legend Ram Gopal Varma. Kalyani Malik has sung the song alongside the renowned playback singer Sunitha. Kittu Vissapragada has penned the lyrics. Take a look at the song:
In one day, the song has garnered 298,672 views on YouTube with fans showering their feedback in the comment section. One of the users commented, “What a refreshing musical treat after a while." Another one said, “The emotional depth of this song is unparalleled; it is a true work of art." “Heartwarming Telugu verses, a musical embrace for the soul," wrote the third user. At the same time, many showered red heart emojis in the comment box.
However, speaking on the occasion, RGV said, “I just watched the song ‘Nijama’ from this film directed by my friend Bala. The song is very melodious and is filmed beautifully. Both the scenery and the cameraman’s work are exquisite. I’m very glad to be part of this event. I have also heard the storyline. This is an interesting new-age film. I wish success to ‘Honeymoon Express.’
Director Bala Rajasekharuni said he had worked with Ram Gopal Varma on two Hollywood films, namely, Beauty of Passion and Atta. Both projects are currently in development. Ram Gopal Varma’s films have always been an inspiration for him. He further said Honeymoon Express is a romantic comedy, and he is overwhelmed that Ram Gopal Varma Sir has released the lyrical video of the first song.
As per reports, the makers are also planning to announce the release date soon.
