1 dead in vehicle pile-up

HOSUR: A series of road accidents left one dead and 10 others seriously injured on the Hosur-Krishnagiri National Highway in the wee hours of Saturday. At least 12 vehicles rammed into each other in a matter of seconds after heavy fog hampered vision in the area.It all began when the driver of a lorry parked his vehicle near Kurubarapalli in Soolagiri and went to have tea in a nearby hotel. A mini lorry from Krishnagiri rammed into it. Another 10 vehicles also collided one after another. The mini lorry driver died on the spot.
