2 engineering students die in bike mishap

HYDERABAD: Alleged rash driving claimed the lives of two engineering students on the city outskirts on Wednesday. The duo crashed their 250 CC bike into a roadside electric pole while returning from a temple and died of severe injuries.
According to police, the deceased are J Abhinay and G Abhiram, both aged 19 and second year students of Chaitanya Bharathi Institute of Technology (CBIT) near Gandipet. Abhinay hails from Kurnool while Abhiram belongs to Bhongir in Nalgonda district. They were staying in the college hostel.Narsingi police subinspector R Balu said the students went to Sai Baba temple near Gandipet lake on Wednesday morning. "They were returning from the temple when Abhinay, who was driving the vehicle, lost control over the vehicle and rammed it into a roadside electric pole at a high speed,' the SI said.
