2 tribal kids die of food poisoning

WARANGAL: Seven tribal children took ill reportedly after taking contaminated food at Islavat thanda in Nellikuduru mandal. Two of them -- Nitin and Rajesh, both aged five years, died while undergoing treatment.Five others are obtaining treatment at Khammam and Mahaboobnagar area hospitals. The reasons behind the illness have not been ascertained yet. But doctors suspect that they fell sick after taking contaminated food and water.Mahabubabad DSP A Ramadeiv said that they were collecting details from the children's parents. Orders were issued to conduct postmortem on the bodies, she added.
