As Srinivas was incurring losses in his retreading business, he started getting explosives from his old friend, allegedly Raju, on a large scale illegally."The same used to be supplied to Yadaiah, an ex-private contractor for GHMC. Yadaiah worked as a labourer and later used to sell explosive material to stone quarry workers to recover from his losses," Khan said.Meanwhile, police are tracking possibilities of these explosives being used in anti-national activities. The duo were handed over to Kanchanbagh police for further action.Khan said that police would focus on explosive dealers in the city and four teams would be formed to check their licences.
