New Delhi: NGOs in Gujarat have written to the Chief Justice of India, after some media reports said that the Special Investigation Team (SIT) probing the 2002 riot cases plans to file a closure report.
The NGOs have asked Chief Justice SH Kapadia to ensure justice for the riot victims.
Their letter also asks the Chief Justice of India to inquire why the recommendations of Amicus Curaie Raju Ramchandran are not been acted upon by the RK Raghavan chaired SIT.
