22-yr-old student kills self

CHENNAI: An engineering student committed suicide at his house in Choolaimedu on Monday, apparently after he failed to get a job due to pending papers. The victim E Bharat Kumar of Third Street in Sankarapuram,  used to help his father Elangovan to run a textile shop on Choolaimedu High Road. But, he eventually stopped going to the shop, which drew his father’s ire. On Monday, before leaving for his shop, Bharat’s father had asked him to come to the shop. Bharat was later found hanging from the fan in the bedroom.
