CHENNAI: The Madras High Court has granted three weeks time to the vigilance officer attached to the Madras High Court to complete inquiry on the alleged discussion between Kanchi pontiff Jayendra Saraswathi and the Puducherry Principal Sessions Judge Ramasamy over payment of bribery.When the petition from advocate P Sundararajan came up for further hearing today, vigilance counsel R Suresh Kumar sought two to three weeks time to complete the inquiry on the issue. Justice K Suguna granted three weeks time.The judge also permitted N Sundaresa Iyer, former manager of the Kanchi Mutt, to implead himself as a party in the case.Earlier, the judge had stayed further proceedings in the Sankararaman murder case pending before the principal sessions judge in Puducherry.
