A shocking incident has emerged from Bihar’s Purnia, where a brother and husband are searching for their missing sister and wife, Reeva Devi. The family, residents of the Ramnagar area in Purnia, is struggling to cope with her sudden disappearance.
Speaking to News18 Local, Gopal Kumar Jha, the brother, and Bambam Jha, the husband, revealed that they have been searching for Reena for nearly a month.
They recounted that Reena Devi went missing suddenly on August 25 at around 10 AM, near the Shiva temple in Purnia. According to the family, Reena was mentally stable, but due to family discord and stress, she recently fell into depression. She had left home with the intention of becoming self-reliant. Despite the passage of 25 days, there has been no trace of her.
The family stated that they are searching for Reena with the help of local police. They have extended their search to numerous cities, including Patna, Bhagalpur, Saharsa, and Naugachia. Reena Devi is a mother of two children, a son and a daughter.
The family has made an appeal to the public, asking for help in locating Reena Devi, who is described as 36-years old, with a fair complexion, 5 feet 2 inches in height, an average physique, fluent in Hindi, and last seen wearing red salwar suit. The family is searching for the woman while carrying posters throughout the district.
