New Delhi: After five-year-old Prince fell in a 53 feet and 1.5 wide shaft in Shahbad, Haryana last year, a similar incident happened with a three-year-old girl in Bhavnagar district of Ahmedabad.
Arti Chawda fell into a 60 feet borewell at a village in Bhavnagar district on Sunday, official sources said.
They also said that fire-brigade teams from Ahmedabad have rushed to the village with hi-tech rescue equipment.
"As per preliminary information received from the sub-divisional magistrate of Bhavnagar, the girl fell into a 60 ft borewell near Bagdana village," Ahmedabad fire-brigade senior officer Rajesh Bhatt was quoted as saying by news agency PTI.
Bhavnagar district collectorate officials said the incident occurred at noon.
"We have requested that the rescue teams bring cameras and other hi-tech equipment required to rescue the girl," the official said.
