BANGALORE: A turkey, unaware of the traffic scenario in Bangalore, chose to squat on the Tank Bund Road opposite to Christ School in Tavarakere on Tuesday. This only led to a jam on that road that lasted for a quarter of an hour.The impact of this jam was felt on the arterial Bannerghatta Road.It was then chased away by the drivers and it ran into the premises on Christ School. Many people, wanting to claim the turkey as their own, attempted to catch it leading to chaos on the road.The drama came to an end when Arogyasamy from the Nivedanam OMI Study house claimed the turkey as the organisation’s and caught it. He said that the turkey’s partner, a male turkey, was caught by dogs a few days back and he suspected that this turkey might have come out in search of the partner.
