Producer Surinder Kapoor suffered a heart attack at his residence in Lokhandwala on Saturday evening.
Mumbai: Bollywood producer Surinder Kapoor, passed away in Mumbai on Saturday evening following a massive cardiac arrest. He was 87.
He is survived by his wife, three sons - film producer Boney Kapoor, actors Anil Kapoor and Sanjay Kapoor and daughter Reena Marwah.
Sources said that Kapoor suffered a heart attack at his residence in Lokhandwala on Saturday evening.
Even though he was not related to the Prithviraj Kapoor family, he shared close relationship with late Shammi Kapoor and his actress wife Geeta Bali.
Kapoor produced movies like 'Mr India', 'Judaai', 'Loafer', 'No Entry', among others. He was an assistant director for epic film Mughal-e-Azam.
