BANGALORE: Inaugurating the Adamya Chetana Utsav and Ramayana Carnival organised by Adamya Chetana Trust here on Saturday, Chief Minister D V Sadananda Gowda, appreciated the extensive service rendered by the Adamya Chetana Trust towards the under-privileged and needy children.He said, “Adamya Chetana has set an example and this kind of service has to be followed in order to bring about change and upliftment in the society. Everyone expects from the society, but no one is concerned about the society. Government alone cannot bring about change, society should also be responsible.”“Children are the future of society and nation builders, hence the society should concentrate on personality development of the children,” Sadananda Gowda added.H N Ananth Kumar, Member of Parliament, Bangalore South and Chief Patron of Adamya Chetana, requested the Chief Minister to come up with a Ramayana museum at Hampi.On the occasion, Kumar related about invincible spirit of his mother Girija Shastry, on whose memory the Adamya Chetana Trust has been set up in the city.Shlokas, story telling, rangoli, quiz, flower garland making, folk song, Ramayana geeta chitra, dance drama and indigenous sports will be part of the Adamya Chetana’s 10th anniversary celebration which will conclude on Sunday.
