Following reports of defective question paper, the Rajasthan Public Service Commission on Tuesday cancelled the commerce paper of school lecturer examination which was held on Monday.
Nearly 5,000 candidates appeared for this paper.
The commission found that the pages of question paper series C and D were interchanged, therefore series of questions were also changed in the booklet. Reports from various examination centres from different cities confirmed that the mistake was repeated everywhere.
RPSC decided to conduct the paper again within a month and a probe to find out how defective question papers were distributed is on.
This is the second exam cancelled by the RPSC within a week. Last Thursday, it had cancelled the RAS preliminary examination-2013 whose results were declared earlier.
