Toronto: Actress Kristen Stewart has dismissed rumours that there is tension between her and Robert Pattinson following their split. Speaking at the premiere of her new film On The Road at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF), Stewart said that they are fine with the situation.
"We are going to be fine," she said when asked about their upcoming press tour to promote Twilight: Breaking Dawn - Part 2, reports digitalspy.co.uk. Pattinson and Stewart parted ways after details of the actress's affair with Snow White and the Huntsman director Rupert Sanders emerged in July.
The 22-year-old actress later made a statement confirming the reports, apologised for her 'momentary indiscretion' and described Pattinson as "the person I love and respect the most". Stewart's appearance on the TIFF red carpet marked her first public outing since reports of the affair surfaced. She admitted that she was nervous at the prospect of facing the press, but was glad she decided to go through with it.
"To be honest, I was just kind of telling myself, like, just don't back out. Be there, don't just figuratively put your head down and barrel through it. Be there, appreciate it. Luckily, very, very much I was able to do that," she said.
Stewart and Pattinson will reunite on screen in The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2 slated to release November 12.
