New Delhi: Announcing its association with Intel and Microsoft, Asus today has launched Intel's 3rd generation core processor-based S series ultrabooks and the F series notebook.
Asus S Series offers a range of ultrabooks which is enabled with in-built optical drive. Engineered with Intel's Ivy Bridge processor and weighing 2.4 kgs, the S Series is claimed to have a longer battery life. The S Series is claimed to offer up to 13 days of standby.
It features a 15.6-inch HD LED Backlight Glare display with HD 0.92 megapixel, 1280X720 resolution camera. The S series comes with a hybrid storage which comprises 24GB SSD storage and a 500GB/750GB HDD. It comes with Windows 7 Home Basic.
On the other hand, the Asus F501A-XX187R (F-series) notebook, which comes equipped with Intel Core i3 processor, has a 15.6-inch HD Glare display. The notebooks is said to offer up to 14-day standby. It includes Windows 7 Home Basic. Other features include HDMI, USb 3.0 and a 0.3 megapixel webcam.
The Asus S56CA-XX030R is priced at Rs 46,999, while the Asus S56CA-XX056R is priced at Rs 52,999. The Asus F501A-XX187R is priced at Rs 35,999. These devices come with one year on-site warranty.
